Friday 11. / January '13 Rose Eken/Marshall Weber Opening

With an array of ceramic souvenirs, Rock and Roll souvenirs, that is: American spirit cigarettes, Corona beer bottles, Coke cans, and, you know, some cigarette butts, Rose Eken managed to give new life to these everyday objects. That was just the first part of the show.

Using a 1920's stencil machine, Marshall Weber added lyrics from 'Yesterday is Dead' by the Guillemots with the idea to "destroy nostalgia."
